<g:plusone size="medium" href="http://www.listfree.org/37603-new-technology-helps-extractor-fans-pay-for-themselves-in-lower-utility-bills.html"></g:plusone>

The rising cost of building supplies is making it difficult for those who started building their homes before the bottom fell out of the global market. With the sale of housing at an all time low, many people thought that building their home had many advantages that could not be ignored; things like the bottom line cost and control over design were worth it then but are difficult decisions now. The last thing a home builder needs to worry about is the details. Things like simple extractor fans for the kitchen and bathroom are suddenly big, expensive deals that must be scrutinized before decisions can be made. What a waste of valuable time… until now.

New technologies and common sense designs are taking the sting out of fans and bringing the home builder closer to their dreams without the hassle of having to agonize over their choices. Brand names like Vortice and Xpelair are marketing powerful, yet affordable extracting rotating oscillators that do a great job and look good doing it. The new key word in fans is power and these new items have plenty of it. Utilizing new, brilliant technology allows them to be stronger than their predecessors while using less energy. The savings alone means that the units can pay for themselves through efficiency and lower energy bills.

Safety is also an issue that has been addressed, with newer innovations in the motors and housings. Things like the double housing that cuts down on vibration and reduces noise pollution makes shopping with these companies more desirable than ever before. In today’s economy, that means a lot. Home builders know that the way to save money in building is to get the best products at the best prices, even in small details that can add up quickly if care is not taken.

There are also more options available to home owners and builders than ever before. It used to be that purchasing a wall mounted fan was a must in order to save on installation costs but now the inset models come with a kit that makes installing them easier and more cost efficient than ever before. Ball bearing technology has extended the life of these items as well. Home owners know only too well the sound of a burned out fan motor after only a year or two of service.

If you are building a home or if you own your own home and/or rental properties, you are in luck when it comes to extractor fans because there has never been a better time to invest in top of the line models and create future saving opportunities on utility bills. Visit your favourite electrical supply store to find out more about these and other products that make your house a home. You may be surprised to find that you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. When it comes to saving money while retaining quality, it is all in the small details.

<g:plusone size="medium" href="http://www.listfree.org/26021-terror-victims-get-ray-of-hope-from-ratna-nidhi-charitable-trust.html"></g:plusone>

Mumbai has seen a lot of terror in the last decade. 2003, at Gateway of India and Zaveri Bazaar, blasts in local trains in 2006 and serial explosions in November 2008. One man, septuagenarian Mahendrabhai Mehta, founder Ratna Nidhi Charitable Trust, has picked up the threads of those orphaned and de-stabilised by these attacks and given them educational scholarships. Children whose hands he held in 2003 are adults now and well on their way to realising dreams of becoming police officers and Railway officers. ” Education is the greatest gift off all,” says Mahendrabhai; whose wife Ashaben Mehta has stood solidly behind him in his charitable efforts.

And when theres a good cause; can a few good men be far behind? Retd IPS Julio Ribiero, Force One Chief Mr. Date, Gul Kriplani joined Mahendra Bhai and Asha Ben Mehta met in a small gathering at Indian Merchants Chambers for a very honorable cause – to award educational scholarships to the children of victims of the 2011 Zaveri bazaar Mumbai bomb blasts and terrorist attacks.

Said Mr. J. Ribiero, ‘In Mumbai, one learns to live with terrorism. The world has become cruel and desensitised. RNCT is a small sliver of hope. It reminds the society of what it forgets – duty towards mankind. I shall always come forward and lend my hand, if only to see a child smile.’

Mr. Date, Force One Chief said, ‘This program reminds us policemen that we have an unfinished job to take care of. The city is not yet safe. There is still a long way to go before our children can be promised a better tomorrow. Till then, I feel ashamed to ever look at them in the eye.’

Shri.RR Patil; who could not attend due to an emergency has promised to meet the children on the 25th of this month to solicit his support to the cause.

ABOUT MAHENDRABHAI MEHTA (Founder)

Heres a man who was conferred the ‘humanitarian rose’ award at kensington palace in 2004; who was invited to meet the Dalai lama in 2009 for his work on the welfare of humanity; and has over the years worked with several Nobel prize winners on the supply of ‘prosthetics and orthotics’ to landmine victims in Africa.

Meet Mahendrabhai mehta, whos NGO Ratna Nidhi charitable Trust addresses the immediate needs of the poor and marginalized sections of the society. It has been operational for the last 25 years.

Retired diamond merchant, Shri Mahendra Bhai Mehta, a tireless philanthropist teaches “what is money” to street children very regularly. The humble, reclusive seventy-something, though hard of hearing, is sound of mind and body. His passion is entirely this trust that aims to alleviate the sufferings of the poor, handicapped and the destitute.

RNCT has been extremely active in the area of education for the poor orphaned children of bomb blast victims. There are heartwarming stories of the blast affected victims of 2003; who got hope and support from Jyotsnaben; the living light of RNCT. The trust also provides trauma treatment to these families, specially the children.

RNCT also has viklang melas where recently they managed to benefit a total of 16798 orthopaedically handicapped and hearing impaired. During these camps, polio affected got custom made calipers, amputees got jaipur foot prosthetic as per their measurements and crutches, tricycles and wheelchairs are distributed on a need based assessment. These camps have taken place in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Jammu & Kashmir besides International locations like Hiati (earthquake) in March 2010 and Leh Ladakh. The trust also works towards providing an incentive to children from economically backward backgrounds to attend school by providing them with a mid-day meal every day.

According to the skilled team of company this new investment will not only help them in gaining attraction of the targeted customer but from this thThis is a meaningful achievement if seen according to hair transplant system. Rather hair transplant had successful market its services among bald people and gain a lot of attention from them but this new news will give hard times to the rival of the company.
Lahore is not the region where hair transplant companies get the more and more bald people to treat but still this region is good for the business because people some get aware through effective campaigns. In hair transplant business treatment is not the difficult part but the most difficult is to assure the person that it has no harm on health either not so painful too.
Company has treated celebrities of the nation and gains the word of month from those successful achievements. More over the company market its services not only among the totally bald people but also among those who are passing through the age of 30 to 45 because in this age, hairs of most people started to lose.
Hairs are not necessary only for personality but also shows that how young at heart you are. Hair loss treatment is not popular in males only but from last some year the percentage of females customer also increases up to significant numbers. A research conducted on hair loss treatment shows that, females are more conscious about their hairs and so contact to professional faster than males.
The machinery bought by the Pakistani company now increases the capability and the day the company get that machinery operational, do more surgery of hairs than before. Hair transplant and its admin said in an interview that they are getting good response because of successful surgeries of celebrities and other people and so have plans for expanding in others cities of Pakistan as weley also achieve satisfaction of customers too.

<g:plusone size="medium" href="http://www.listfree.org/24973-managers-can-breathe-a-sigh-of-relief-fear-of-illnesses-and-the-financial-crisis-arouse-body-consciousness.html"></g:plusone>

According to a study ordered by the “Manager-Magazin” from the headhunting company Heidrick & Struggles in September 2008, 91 per cent of 1000 representatively asked top managers go in for sports on a regular basis; two thirds even for two or three times a week. They mainly train to stay slim and healthy. 88 per cent say they pay attention to their weight. 82 per cent say they eat consciously healthy, prefer fruit and vegetables and avoid fatty food. One quarter swears by diets and fasts. Different from most men, top managers regularly visit a doctor. 79 per cent take advantage of medical prevention programmes without any acute reason; two thirds are aware of their blood pressure.

The consciousness of the importance of our health as the highest good grows. A lot of top managers are concerned again about their quality of life and their well-being. It is not about where the lights are on the longest anymore. Success is still important, but not at any price – a realisation to which the financial crisis has contributed its share. It has shown limits and has taken away the basis of the principle “faster – higher – farther”.

Under these circumstances, breathing as the most important elixir of life becomes more and more important besides sports and a healthy diet. Various highly stressed managers and politicians count on respiratory support (spirovital therapy) in the form of energy stations. When using such an energy station you inhale air through a light cannula that streams out of a small device. This air has been enriched with energy beforehand. The rest is done by endogenous regulatory mechanisms. During this time work is not left unattended, as the slightly droning device of the size of a brief case is placed next to a desk or sofa and makes it possible to carry on working, telephoning or conferring.

The new technology of Airnergy AG in Hennef, Germany does not supply the body with additional oxygen – like conventional oxygen therapies do – but the oxygen, of which there is a sufficient amount in the air is activated in the way that the body can use it more efficiently. This is important, as about three quarters are exhaled without being used. The effects of the device draw even the attention of medical experts to it: Studies verify that Airnergy treatments help to reduce stress and have positive effects on the whole body, especially in the case of sleeping disorders. The advantage of the “little Airnergy power stations” is that its users – managers at their desks, too – can charge their empty batteries without a lot of effort.

Formula One driver Rubens Barrichello and football coach Ottmar Hitzfeld, who are treated by the best physiotherapists and fitness coaches, also use Airnergy to regain energy and relax. By now, Airnergy – the first patented German technology of its kind – is offered by doctors, specialist hospitals, sports and fitness facilities, as well as spas and beauty salons. In many areas this new technology is not only used as a source of energy, but also as a new business idea, which ensures an interesting additional income.

Please consider the importance of breathing: People working mainly sedentary use only about half of their real lung volume. Only very few people are aware of the fact that, due to our need to eat and drink, detoxification plays an important role. 70 per cent of it takes place through the lungs, 20 per cent through the skin, 7 per cent through the bladder and only 3 percent through the bowels. That means that breathing plays a crucial role in the process of detoxifying the body.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Tennessee has its own exclusive online auction website now.

A Tennessee resident, and MTSU Student, Justin Gilliam has created a localized eBay type website than can be found at www.borobid.com. It allows everyone in Tennessee to list and buy items without having the fear of paying outrageous shipping prices. Also, it allows people to buy local items with the ability to drive and see the item before they pay the full price.

The unique part of the website is that it doesn’t cost anything to list or buy an item. If the item listed doesn’t sell then the lister is not responsible for any fees. “The website is a great way for local people to buy and sell without paying high corporate fees” Said the sites creator Justin Gilliam.

Justin said he created the site in order to bring a mix of eBay and Craigslist together to create an online auction site localized to Middle Tennessee. He also said it’s great for college students to buy and sell things needed for every day college life. Jared Shreve, manager of Jimmy’s Bowtie Supply in Flat Creek, said “You can list anything from a text book to a vehicle without paying high listing fees like on eBay and feel secure that you won’t be giving your phone number or email address to strangers like on craigslist.” They encourage everyone to sign up and give the site a try.

<g:plusone size="medium" href="http://www.listfree.org/16982-agreedo-announces-launch-of-free-online-meeting-management-solution.html"></g:plusone>

Agreedo, a division of Siehec GmbH, based in Munich, Germany, announces the launch of their free online service that helps companies save money by optimizing wasteful meetings. Their dynamic set of tools allows users to create concise meeting agendas. This is accomplished by tracking tasks, decisions, notes, and most importantly, sending participants messages, follow-up tasks, and deadlines. In the process, valuable meeting minutes are created and can be viewed by all attendees.

Every employee knows a wasteful meeting when they experience it. Yet despite concerted efforts to reduce costs across the workplace, companies fail to proactively address this often-unquantifiable drag on the bottom line. Intuitively speaking, a meeting that serves no clear, explicit purpose keeps employees from doing their jobs: selling, working with customers, or improving products. Viewed through this lens, the costs are immense. Research indicates that opportunity costs – the lost productivity or value-added contributions made by participants because of inefficient or ineffective meetings – can equal three to 10 times what an employee normally earns. In fact, an extreme case study showed that wasteful meetings cost one company $1.6 million per year in lost productivity. Add to the equation the “soft costs” of wasteful meetings – lowered employee morale, widespread questioning of the competence of one’s superiors, and discontent caused by late or absent attendees. The choice for companies becomes clear: optimize your meetings.

Such a charge seems self-evident; no company, of course, consciously seeks to hold wasteful meetings. But as meeting planners can attest, holding productive meetings is easier said than done. It starts with effective planning – creating a compelling and realistic agenda, getting participants involved and engaged, and keeping the meeting itself as short as necessary.

The biggest drain on resources, in fact, can occur after the meeting, when action items fail to be acted upon. Participants simply forget, they lack the incentive to follow-through, or other projects take precedence. It’s at this juncture the meeting planner will reengage and devote precious resources to follow-up. All the while, valuable time is lost. Throughout this drawn-out process, meeting planners may have an agenda and the impetus to hold a productive meeting; what they lack, however, is a user-friendly platform that synthesizes key steps, organizes information, and provides a methodological way to effectively track progress.
Ageedo’s suite fills this void by helping companies make their meetings more efficient, more intelligent, and more actionable.

Key features include:

* Compatibility with major e-mail or scheduling platforms like Outlook, Lotus Notes, or Gmail
* Functionality allowing users to add comments or items to meeting agendas, upload files, and readily schedule follow up meetings
* Built-in search engine enabling instant searching across agenda, meeting notes, and user comments
* An intuitive interface that automatically structures meeting minutes and tasks into logical hierarchies in an easy-to-follow format
* Functionality assigning tasks to attendees with deadlines
* Cross-team alerting system for when tasks are updated or completed

<g:plusone size="medium" href="http://www.listfree.org/8430-caps-and-closures-market-opportunities.html"></g:plusone>

Caps & Closures to 2014

US demand to reach $9.5 billion by 2014
US demand for caps and closures is expected to reach $9.5 billion in 2014, with unit demand exceeding 270 billion. Advances will be driven by the popularity of value-added designs such as childresistant closures (CRCs) and dispensing closures, with the latter offering increased convenience and controlled product release in numerous applications. ( http://www.bharatbook.com/detail.asp?id=154297&rt=Caps-Closures-to-2014.html )

Rubber, plastic closures to offer best opportunities
Plastic closures, by far the dominant closure material in value and units, will experience above-average growth, reflecting further inroads by plastic containers into markets once dominated by glass and metal, and solid gains for value-added closure types such as dispensing and CRCs. In addition, plastic closures will continue to replace metal closures on glass food containers. However, unit and value advances will decelerate from the 2004-2009 pace based on the maturity of several beverage applications and the lightweighting of closures for sustainability and cost reduction. Additionally, prospects for plastic caps and closures will be moderated by competition from packaging formats that do not typically use closures, such as stand-up pouches and blister packs. The increasing use of peelable lidding rather than rigid lids in single-serving cups will also restrict expansion.

Synthetic cork closures will see continued solid growth due to performance and cost advantages over natural corks. In addition, prospects will be aided by rising wine consumption, due in part to the aging of the US population and wine’s increasing position as not only a beverage consumed at social events but also accompanying everyday meals. Rubber stopper demand will register the fastest gains, driven by upward trends in the development and production of parenteral drugs and solutions and the adaptation of an expanding range of parenteral medication and vaccines to prefillable syringes.

Aggregate unit demand for metal caps and closures is expected to remain essentially flat, as metal closures lose further ground to plastic closures based on the ongoing supplantation of glass containers by plastic alternatives and compatible plastic closures. However, the overall outlook masks well-above average growth in aluminum roll-on closures for wine packaging. Problems of “cork taint” have enabled aluminum rollons to capture more of the wine market in recent years as alternatives to natural and synthetic corks.

Pharmaceuticals to be fastest growing market
The pharmaceutical market will register the fastest gains, aided by above-average growth among older segments of the population, which comprise many of the most intensive consumers of pharmaceuticals. In addition, opportunities will be helped by the adoption of stricter regulations and standards governing the child-resistant, senior-friendly and security features of pharmaceutical packaging. However, demand will be moderated somewhat by the increasing use of blister packs and other closureless containers (e.g., strip packs, pouches) in the unit dose packaging of medication. While beverages will remain by far the largest market in unit terms, demand will lag the overall average and will decelerate from the 2004-2009 period based on the maturity of large-volume markets such as carbonated soft drinks and beer, along with a slowdown in bottled water growth due to environmental concerns.
This was not excessive given the size of its operations. However, its decision to integrate its domestic network operations and transform its business to support burgeoning mobile data growth and more software-driven services meant that it needed to change its business model radically. Orange Spain decided to outsource all non-core activities for network operations and consolidate on one supplier – Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN). It is currently in the process of moving to this single sourcing model by 2013.
This provides an important context for next-generation access in terms of commercial strategies, regulation, and policy. The first stage of next-generation deployment in urban areas is notable in that all players, not just the incumbent, have signaled a clear preference for fiber to the home (FTTH). Deployments are taking place within the new regulatory framework created to allow for multi-operator deployment of FTTH in dense areas. However, in terms of actual high-speed deployment, cable operator Numericable has set the bar high and established a significant lead. Telcos face important challenges in developing an effective FTTH business. These include complexity and delays in connecting buildings and homes, other investment priorities, and little maneuverability in high-speed broadband pricing.
Table of Contents :

Executive summary
In a nutshell
Ovum view
Key messages
Competitive and flat-rate triple-play pricing limit revenue potential for high-speed broadband access
Numericable: using high-speed broadband deployment to gain a market lead
Governments must intervene carefully in NGA as timing is important
NGA deployment is political, complex, and lengthy
Although India already had five national players and many regional players at that time, potential for further growth due to low teledensity attracted both speculative and strategic investors. While many new entrants are struggling to launch services, a few have started strongly. We think it is unlikely the Indian mobile market can support so many players; only a few of the efficient new entrants are likely to be successful in the short term. As subscriber growth slows in a few years, many of the new players will lead a wave of consolidation in the industry.
Table of Contents :

Executive summary
In a nutshell
Key messages
Efforts to increase competition have led to a crowded market
New players include global telcos and Indian business houses
Launch strategy aims at optimizing capex and reducing time-to-market
Primary focus is on low-income customers and the youth segment
A mixed bag of strong starts and launch struggles
Incumbents defend market position
Ovum view
Potential for short-term success is primarily due to high subscriber growth
Industry consolidation is inevitable, likely to start from 2012
Long-term survival will be challenging for most new entrants
Even the strongest new entrants will have trouble replacing existing players
Some new entrants may go under even before M&A activities begin
The entry of new mobile operators in India
Efforts to increase competition were taken a bit too far
Who are the new entrants?
Aircel
Sistema Shyam TeleServices (SSTL)
Uninor
Etisalat DB
Videocon
S-Tel
Loop Mobile
Go-to-market strategy and progress
Network rollout and IT infrastructure deployment
Network deployment strategies: infrastructure sharing leads the way
New players are adopting an IT outsourcing and managed services model
Attention to underpenetrated markets for network rollout
A few new entrants are also in the race for 3G spectrum
Industry positioning and marketing strategy
Focus on low-income and youth segments
Some emphasis on value-added services and network quality
Claims to offer simplified tariff plans
Conventional sales and distribution strategy
Success to date: a mixed bag
A strong start by Aircel, SSTL, and Uninor
The rest are struggling to launch and expand footprint
Incumbents’ response to new entrants’ inroads
Big players continue to dominate high-ARPU segment
Incumbents have the lead on 3G spectrum auction
Driving high-speed mobile broadband services
Big players have launched application stores
“Call and Buy” service by Tata
Incumbents have the upper hand in the pricing game
Focus on rural areas and Circle C markets
Expansion in rural areas
Focus on Circle C markets
Future outlook
Short- to mid-term gains for some new entrants
Expected continuation of high connections growth is the main driver
Mobile number portability presents an opportunity, though a small one
Delay in industry consolidation due to M&A restrictions by DoT
Strong leadership and efficient execution are the keys to success
Consolidation in the medium term
Prospects will rapidly recede once subscriber growth subsides
Long-term survival requires replacing some of the incumbents
Mid-term survival presents challenges for some
Closing window of opportunity
Unattractive target for new international strategic investors
Attracting and retaining talent is difficult

<g:plusone size="medium" href="http://www.listfree.org/8422-south-korean-insurance-industry-forecast-to-2012.html"></g:plusone>

The South Korean insurance market is one of the largest insurance markets in the world. After the Asian financial crisis of 1998, it has rapidly expanded on the back of regulatory developments, government support, economic growth and rising income level to become the 7th largest market globally in terms of market share. The market will continue to grow at a fast pace in coming years, says our new research report, “South Korean Insurance Industry Forecast to 2012”.
Given the impact of global economic crisis on the industry, there will be a limited demand for insurance products in short term. However, the growth scenario will change for the medium term because it holds huge potential for improvement with recovery of real income growth and higher exports. Thus, the total amount of direct premiums collection for the forecast period (FY 2009 – FY 2012) is expected to grow at a CAGR of over 6%, with the main impetus coming from the non-life insurance sector.
Analyzing the current market trends, we have done a comprehensive analysis of the South Korean insurance market to give an outline of industry’s progress in future. The report covers various segments of the insurance market. It gives detailed product wise analysis of the insurance market by studying it in terms of life-insurance, non-life insurance, premiums collected and claims paid.

Our research also highlights the factors which are responsible for the growth of South Korean insurance market over the forecast period. It says that the growth in real income of the Korean population along with perennial demand for private health insurance is the main drivers of the insurance industry. This trend, coupled with government’s initiatives, is playing a critical role in promoting reforms and competitiveness.
Since deregulation in 1987, the life insurance sector has seen many new entrants, but the largest three, Samsung Life, Korea Life and Kyobo Life, still dominate the market, accounting for about 69% of all life-insurance assets at the end of December 2008. The non-life sector is similarly concentrated with Samsung Fire & Marine, Hyundai Fire & Marine, Dongbu Fire & Marine and LG Insurance accounting for around 68% of all non-life-insurance assets at the end of December 2008.

Our initial network modeling, which focused on reducing power through more efficient gear and limiting IP transit traffic in the core, shows that power savings up to perhaps 50% of the present method of operation (PMO) are possible through architectural changes that are straightforward but still challenging to implement. Industry convergence on an “Energy Star”–like power metric and improvements in sub-wavelength grooming efficiency are critical. However, ultimately, just keeping power consumption flat given traffic growth projections will require more radical approaches.
Network-level software: assessing its impact
Baseline architecture
Introduction and explanation of baseline architecture model and the present method of operation (PMO)
Opportunities/challenges related to the PMO
Alternative approaches to the PMO
Alternative one: newer-vintage network elements, but no major architecture changes
Alternative two: adopt a more aggressive architecture change
Adopt an IP router bypass architecture for transit traffic, leveraging integrated packet-optical capabilities
Network power consumption modeling results
True improvements in network power use will come through changes in topology and architecture
Other architectural approaches not modeled by Ovum
Ciena’s modeling of a subwavelength switching layer
Implications of the “muxponder tax” modeled by Infinera
Qualitative survey results
Progress over the past year is clear, but much more needed
Gathering and using real-time NE data is still rudimentary
Relative importance of power as a product spec and selling point
What technologies and techniques did vendors list as critical to lowering power?
Impacts of packet-optical integration in the core
Special features and capabilities different vendors bring
Changes vendors are making to their products now to improve power stats
Future directions in product development
Importance of a separate switching layer?
Looking ahead: speculative architecture(s) and other more radical approaches
More drastic changes needed: traffic growth set to outrun incremental power improvements
