The North West’s leading manufacturer of UPVC composite doors and windows has spent the last few months making further improvements to their customer service, and are pleased to announce the addition of two new levco trucks to their burgeoning fleet.
Residents around Stockport and surrounding areas as far afield as central Manchester are likely to see the new trucks in the future, fully branded in Force 8 colours and logos, and fully equipped with state of the art satellite navigation systems; a feature that has also been added across Force8′s existing fleet.
Dennis Sumner, managing director of Force 8, says that “there is no point in improving our factory efficiency, if we are not getting the products to the customers on time.
“The vehicles fitted with the new live navigation system are able to optimise the best route from delivery to delivery, and because it’s a live system they are able to avoid traffic jams, keeping the driver up to date on his ETA.”
This feature will certainly be useful as Force 8 makes further headway into the North West’s biggest cities, with Manchester and Liverpool being prime candidates.
The new systems also allow Force 8 to track the vehicles’ progress remotely, in real time, keeping customers updated on when they can expect to receive their new composite windows and doors.
“After some heavy investment in machinery over the last few years to reduce turnaround times, it was a logical move to improve and expand our delivery side of the business” Dennis continues.
“As a company we will always strive to improve every aspect of the business, you cannot afford to stand still in the present market.”
Force 8 have not been standing still on the production front either, and the recent investment in machinery has already yielded fantastic results when it comes to new styles of windows and doors, with Force 8 fire doors receiving an overhaul to make them even safer, and Force 8′s brand new Bi folding doors perfected just in time for summer.
Coupled with the now lightning fast delivery system and always expect installations, residents of Lancashire and the North West can have brand new Bi folding doors or French doors fitted at the first hint of sunshine.
