LGN Events have annouced that Belgium based fashion designer Valentine Avoh will be showcasing her RTW collection at their pre-LFW show at destination venue, Movida.
MO*VIDA, built beneath the London Palladium in the heart of London, has won numerous nightclub and party awards, and has played host to some of the worlds’ top celebrities.
The show, set to attract the attention of press and fashion industry professionals and enthusiasts, will take place the day before the official LFW schedule kicks in on 18 Feb 2010.
Valentine, born and raised in Brussels, has long had a love for art. It all started with photography but soon progressed to fashion. Aged 19 she moved to London to study a degree in fashion design and pattern cutting at the London College of Fashion. Upon graduation she landed a job as a junior fashion designer for Samantha Shaw and has since worked for Alexander McQueen and Haute Couture designer Alexis Mabille in Paris.
